Pakistan’s Potential to Generate 100,000 MW from Coal Reserves

The nation has adequate coal resources, according to Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan, to produce 100,000 megawatts of power.

He thanked the chief minister of Sindh for his cooperation and added that the addition of 2,646 Megawatts of electricity from Thar coal would result in less summertime power outages than the previous year.

The administration has chosen to produce the least amount of power possible with expensive fuel, despite the fact that we have the resources to do so, according to Dastgir.

“By choosing not to utilise Thar coal for electricity generation throughout its four years in office, the past government engaged in criminal negligence.
